My name is Deborah and I have been designing and making Wedding Gowns,Theatrical and Period Costumes for more than twenty-five years.
Having studied fashion for three years in the 1970’s. I took employment in the Theatre, where most of my practical experience was gained designing and creating costumes of infinite variety.
I now work from home where clients are invited into a relaxed and happy atmosphere.
Deborations specialize in the creation of exclusive wedding gowns. All dresses are designed and handmade to the highest standards.
Following agreement with the customer regarding budget. Fabric, ideas and designs are then considered.
When a design has been selected a toile is prepared and fitted. This gives both client and dressmaker the opportunity to perfect the fit and agree on any subsequent changes.
Only then is the final garment produced. A number of fittings will be needed at this stage, depending on the complexity of the gown.

Naturally, prices are dependent on fabric costs, design and levels of decoration. A quotation will be provided after a free, no-commitment, consultation.
Historical costumes are available on request
